I'M SUSANA.

I'm a busy mom, wife, and I have a regular office job.

One day I decided to start my journey of becoming a better version of myself. A healthier version to be exact.

A few years ago I met one of the strongest Powerlifters in the world, Mr. Ernie Lilliebridge Sr. He became a mentor to me. He told me two things that changed the way I looked at myself.

I never believed that I was going to be an athlete or as good as anyone around me. He told me one day, "Susana you are going to go a long way because hard work beats talent, and you work your ass off."

I'll never forget him repeating, "Attitude Over Aptitude!"

That phrase made me believe in myself. I might not be as strong or as talented as other athletes, but I give my all to everything I do 100 % of the time.

He also told me to stay "happy but NEVER satisfied" and that is exactly how I feel every single day. Happy of where I am, but always hungry for more. The beautiful thing about my journey is that I don't see an end to it. I'm always learning, growing, and getting stronger not only physically, but mentally as well.

Those two phrases made a HUGE impact on how I saw myself and pushed me to continue believing in myself.

It's time for YOU to BELIEVE in YOURSELF as well. I really hope I can be that person that helps YOU change your life.
